Westbank Gamers. As their website states they are "New Orleans' premier gaming group, meeting weekly for nearly three years. We specialize in multi-player strategy and war games, although we do enjoy the occassional "one-on-one" competition.

Our group consists of 15 + members (see biographies below) who meet every Wednesday evening to enjoy the good fellowship and comraderie that exists over friendly (yet sometimes fierce) competition from adult strategy gaming. We enjoy all types of games from all manufacturers, including Avalon Hill, Decision Games, TimJim, Milton Bradley GameMater Series, SPI, Mayfair, Columbia and many more. We also play a wide variety of the increasingly popular European and German games. If you have any game recommendations or variants, please contact us at gschloesser@earthlink.net."

We sponsor annual tournaments, organize play-by-email games, and help establish global player ratings.

Columbia University Games Club Games Club is a disorganization of strange people who gather Friday evenings, in 607 Hamilton, to play games. Lots of games. Any kind of games--games of strategy, games of chance, games of Cunning[tm], mind games, card games, role-playing games, even those terrifying deckmaster games! Okay, we don't actually play too many collectible card games anymore. For some of the games we play, check our What page. We don't ask for dues, we don't take attendance, and even persons of majority groups are welcome. So if you're into gaming, brownies, parties, and sheep, or if you just have no other life, come join us some Friday! Disclaimer: the Columbia University Games Club will not be held responsible for the costs of subsequent psychiatric counseling.

The Bay Area Role-Playing Society,(located all around the San Francisco Bay). They are an RPGA Club & site where where gamers can post their gaming needs for free, whether they are looking for players, GMs, whatever. The Idea is that we help gamers get together so that anyone can play any game any time and anywhere they want to play- like a great big bulletin board that gets updated frequently. Our newsletter, local events calendar, and list of sponsors can also be found on the website. They also provide a Paid and Platinum Membership program ($10). These get you a membership card good for discounts (10%-40%) at many local shops, as well as some bit internet retailers. Platinum Membership comes when you get your RPGA Guild-Level membership. Check them out at www.bayrps.com.
